My Favorite Spring to Summer Dresses

Can y’all believe that Summer is just a week and a half away now! I’ve been daydreaming up several places that would be so lovely to visit in the Summer time. Let me know if you want me to share some of thos places with you here, by the way! So with it though, of course I’ve been endlessly browsing for all of the perfect Summer Dresses I would pack on a vacation (if we do indeed take one!)…

What's Your Style Language?

What’s your style language? Just like the five different love languages, I believe everyone has their own style language. Be it city chic with a touch of edgy, or prim and proper with a touch of glam, there are many different style languages and combinations you can have!

Finding one’s personal style for some can be a challenge and that’s the last thing I want, because dressing in the morning should not be a chore or necessity…it should be fun! So I’m sharing several tips on how you can determine your “Personal Style Language” in order to…

The Color of The Season

There’s no doubt about it, if you’ve landed on my page, you are seeing COLOR. It’s no secret that it’s my style and pink is my favorite color. Not just to look at or in fresh florals around the house, but to wear.

Blush pink is my absolute favorite neutral to tie into almost anything, whether it be my sunnies, shoes, lips or dresses, but really I love all shades of pink (clearly). However, it’s not all about me here people, I promise you…

Three Dresses to Wear to a Spring Wedding

Dressing up is more than just the physicality that meets the eye. It’s the feeling a woman gets when she slips on a brand new outfit and dresses to confidently take on the day. I believe you should look and feel good while taking on the many roles we play as modern women in the year 2019. This includes dressing glamorous and feeling guilt free about being so for all of life’s special occasions.

As Spring Wedding Season is upon us, take dressing to attend a Wedding for instance. As Southern women…

The Blushing Staple Piece You Won't Take Off

It’s that time of year again! The flowers are blooming and the birds are chirping. This is actually all new to me (experiencing seasons), since we moved to North Carolina. Slowly but surely though things are coming back to life and it sure is beautiful! I do find it somewhat challenging to figure out what to wear this transitioning phase from Winter to Spring because its still cool enough in the morning and evenings for sweaters and all things cozy. It quickly warms up into the afternoon though…

How to Wear a Jumpsuit with Style

With Spring around the corner there are many airy, floral, pastel prints on the rise, and in all honesty I am loving every second of it. Each piece just seems to get more charming and pretty than the next. With the weather warming up and the sun coming out, I find myself gravitating towards sleeved dresses and jumpsuits with a beautiful floral print like the one I wore recently on park avenue while visiting Florida (pictured here). If you’d like to rock this style but are unsure how to style…

Retro Inspired finds

Earlier this week I spoke in “Coffee with Jess” about finding your personal style and in it how I found mine. What I love about fashion is history always repeats itself. I love seeing certain very classic trends come back into our modern wardrobe. I always try to find elements of a past time to incorporate into my wardrobe. Spring is my favorite shopping time of the year to do so. Think Betty & Megan Draper…

Winter to Spring Work Wear

Call me crazy but we did partly move to NC for seasons! And boy are we getting them. I’m experiencing what it is like to live through Winter for the first time, and with it the challenge of how to dress professionally for work when it’s still so cold out but Christmas is long gone.

That means out with the cozy oversized snowflake patterned sweaters and into beautiful colors and blooms. With this, I found myself asking, how to dress professionally for work to stay warm during

You guys!! I can’t believe Valentines is around the corner now! This year, one of my resolutions or goals if you will, was to connect with more like minded women-boss babes! I have been putting that into full force the past several weeks having connected over the phone with Lauren Taylor- a YouTube personality, go-getter, gorgeous model, empowering boss babes all over the world to live their dreams, as well as via Instagram messenger Lauren Cermak- a Southern beauty full of feminine style, charm, recipes and grace, of Going for Grace blog. Y’all I haven’t tried one of her soulfully southern recipe’s yet (because let’s be honest, I’m not that great in the kitchen yet), but they always look so delectable. One of these days I’m going to attempt one! Most recently though, I got to meet in person the beautiful, style and fitness Goddess Tiffany Allison of Treasures and Trails by Tiffany blog. She is

1. Tom Ford- Pink Tease Lipstick

This is my go to for a Nude with blush pink undertones. It doesn't wash my medium skin tone out or pull too brown. Because my skin has pinkish undertones, this really looks like a faint natural pink while making my eye color really pop too! Sometimes I pair it with the next color I am going to share with you that I'll use as a lip liner and fill in with TF Pink Tease color.

2. Bobbi Brown- Dusty Pink Art Stick

I love this again for a very natural pink that pulls slightly deeper mauve tones. It's warmer than the first color which switches it up. The color continues to moisturize and lasts pretty much all day (with a minimal touch up after eating). Much like a crayon for your lips, that again I sometimes combine with the previous color by Tom Ford. :)

3. Nars- Give it up Power Matte Pigment

This one is truly a lip stain. And ladies, it ain't going noooowhere once on your lips. Yet it is somehow not drying or crackily. I've ate meals in this with no touch up required afterwords, and I just love the bright berry undertones that pull hints of fuschia. It's a super fun color for festival season, a date night, or paired with a classic sundress for a ladies luncheon.

4. Dior Addict - Lip Glow Raspberry

Now, this one works as a sheer tinted color that moisturizes, and pulls out your natural lip color with an extra touch of pink. It's super natural, with enhancing elements to just simply enrich your natural beauty. Perfect for all your errand running on the weekends.

5. Sugar- Tint Tulip

Last but not least this gorgeous lip tint with spf. One of the only spf tinted lip colors that I've found that has enough pigment to last on hot Spring and Summer days. It's moisturizing, smells yummy, and truly pulls the pigment it says it does. This is a hot pink hue with SPF 15 perfect for a beach day, boating or pool party!
