Winter to Spring Work Wear

Call me crazy but we did partly move to NC for seasons! And boy are we getting them. I’m experiencing what it is like to live through Winter for the first time, and with it the challenge of how to dress professionally for work when it’s still so cold out but Christmas is long gone.

That means out with the cozy oversized snowflake patterned sweaters and into beautiful colors and blooms. With this, I found myself asking, how to dress professionally for work to stay warm during this transitional period of Winter to Spring, without looking like I’m still in the Christmas spirit, or simply just rolled out of bed and threw on leggings and a sweater, or like I’m full on in Spring Sundress mode already! Ughhh the struggle is real! I think in my head, It’s these little things guys (as I laugh at myself).

So what’s a girl to do. Creatively go shopping of course and then share these uniquely curated styles with you in case you find yourself in the same recent dilemma! Duh. So here’s how I did it.

I found at White House Black Market, beautiful floral long sleeve blouses that remind us Spring is nearing, while still choosing colors like ice blue and navy to remain in winter. These powder blue pants paired with some suede close toed pumps synchronize for a classic put together winter work look that still feels fresh and hints Spring is on its way! For chillier mornings, the fitted tweed black and navy blazer goes perfectly. All in all leaving me feeling beautifully confident and ready to take on the rest of this work week! May it be a stylishly productive one for us all.
