It’s that time of year again! The flowers are blooming and the birds are chirping. Your wardrobe is craving a refresh with sense of style and practicality, calling for a staple piece you won’t want to take off, seamlessly incorporating it into many of your signature looks this season. Slowly but surely though things are coming back to life and it sure is beautiful! This is actually all new to us (experiencing seasons), since we moved to North Carolina. I do find it somewhat challenging to figure out what to wear this transitioning phase from Winter to Spring because its still cool enough in the morning and evenings for sweaters and all things cozy. It quickly warms up into the afternoon though, making sweaters a no go.
That being said, I am all about layers in fresh floral prints, classic stripes, dots, and blushing pastel colors. Icing on the cake? The bow details and ruffled hemlines on nearly everything I am seeing and loving! It’s honestly quite fun to be able to finally figure out what layering is all about! In my recent discoveries I’ve found there is one thing you need in your wardrobe this Spring, and it’s a staple jacket that will transition you seamlessly from chilly mornings to warmer afternoons.
I’m not sure what could possibly be better than this blush pink blazer. Dress it up or dress it down. You can style it with just about anything. I wore it to a regional work meeting a couple weeks ago with a dress and again with these pants. When looking for a Spring staple piece like this jacket, I recommend searching for something true to your personal style (a color or style you love), and a piece with versatility like this one. For example, I can wear this blazer with dresses, work pants, or jeans for a more casual look. The blush pink color palette is not only perfect for my personal style but its versatile as many of the striped, dotted and floral blouses and dresses I’m buying have this light pink undertone in the pattern, allowing me to weave this jacket into my wardrobe over and over again while creating a fresh look each time.
So, if you’d like to make this your Spring Staple jacket too, I’ve got you covered with all the details to shop it and this entire Spring ready look! Sizing I would say is true to size as I’m wearing a 0. I never size up in blazers as its rare I button them and I’d like them to be fitted for a more tailored look.
