Throwback to Our Hawaiian Honeymoon

We were lucky enough to enjoy an INCREDIBLE stay at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua in Maui. We purchased the honeymoon package (click here for deets) which included a bottle of champagne and a Cabana rental for a day that you choose. Make sure you reserve yours in advanced (we booked before arriving to the resort) as they fill up fast. Enjoy some RnR with outstanding service and gorgeous views. Click Here for more Info on this gorgeous resort.

The Black Sand Beach, Pa'iloa Beach, (Click here for more) on the Road to Hana in Maui was incredible to see! Renting an open air jeep while in town is a must for the places you'll go. Stop at a local convenience store or gas station and pick up the CD guided tour for the road to Hana to play while driving, and so you don't miss any hidden spots you may want to see!

Another Stop on the Road to Hana were these lush gardens called "The Garden of Eden" (Click here for more info). In the back of this photo you can see the huge rock that was used in filming Jurassic Park, and to say this place is stunning, is simply an understatement! So beautiful!

Click here to plan your stay at The Ritz Carlton Kapalua. Seriously this resort has the best service (are you surprised?!), most beautiful well maintained grounds, complete with a private beach and tasty cocktails and I think the best, most Pinterest like Breakfast Buffet EVER- The waffles are to die for and the set up is soo cute! The Honeymoon package we picked (click here for all package offers) also included breakfast in their Terrace restaurant for two daily. Trust me, it's so worth it especially even if you are not a morning person (Like me), because of the time change of 6 hours coming in from the east coast, your body will be waking up and ready to go at like 5 AM so you will suddenly be a morning person wanting breakfast before your exciting adventures begin!

DO NOT waist your time with any other Luau while in Maui. We did an additional one in Honolulu that was a complete tourist trap with awful food and wayyy too long. Let me tell you people. This one is legitimate, high class, amazing quality, traditional food of a Hawaiian Luau. It is very authentic from your seating arrangements to the food, and to the performance and show. Not to mention the cocktails were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves while at the Old Lahaina Luau (Click here for details and to reserve your experience).

This may have been my FAVORITE thing that we did on our trip. We went out on this amazing 40 foot Catamaran through Sail Trilogy with a small group and were treated to fresh fruit, Moms Cinnamon Buns, coffee and juice upon arrival. After sailing around a bit you have the choice to either snorkel or snuba the Molokini Crater. This was INCREDIBLE! We did the Snuba, which is a cross between snorkel and scuba and is what made me want to get certified to dive now. SO many beautiful fish and Honu (sea turtle). After that, you get back on the boat and they literally serve you an authentic home made Hawaiian lunch and treat you to beer, cocktails and champagne. It was five stars, first class, period. An incredible experience we will never forget. Click here to learn more and make your reservations at Sail Trilogy.

Dining with a view at the St. Regis in Princeville Kauai was incredible! This resort is a must see, but I wish I could say more for their service unfortunately.

This is a photo of the stunning "Cathedrals" in Kauai on the Napali Coast. We booked a small-next best thing to private as their were only five of us total-boat ride up the coast. The Napali Coast was used in many movies as a filming location such as Jurassic Park and the Pirates of the Caribbean. This day was so much fun as you also get to go into sea caves and drive right under waterfalls! Pretty incredible but may be too adventurous for some...You will get wet! Visit The Gorgeous Twin Falls, properly known as Wailua Falls. They are Massive, the photo doesn't do it justice, and you can drive up to a lookout area to see them, so not much hiking/walking needed for this one, if it is not your thing.

So of course while in Kauai, we had to go to see the Queens Bath, which you can also swim in at your own risk! Despite what this photo shows, Queens Bath is launched up high in the mountain and is quite the slippery, rocky hike to get there. I obviously being the city girl that I am, had no idea (Stairs anyone?!?!) and came dressed in bikini (check), cute romper (check), and Tory Burch sandals (check). NOT a good idea (NO SERIOUSLY, don't wear sandals!!!). Actually about 80 something people have died either on their journey or I guess from getting in during bad weather and being carried over board down into the rocky ocean below (YIKES!!). So if I haven't completely scared you away now, this place was truly incredible and a site that you can not miss if you are willing to just wear the appropriate shoes to make the hike. If the weather is calm there are many people in it, which is so cool. Quite incredible and worth my stressful, slippery hike to make it to the Glorious Queens Bath (Click here for a great action video of this place). Found on You Tube.

Aloha! #FollowingTheFrapps

To say Hawaii is beautiful is just simply an understatement. With the beautiful blue skies, ocean breeze and clear blue water and the friendly's just so much more. It was so special to be able to visit Kauai, Oahu, and Maui on our honeymoon two years ago now! Time really does fly. In the spirit of romance for the month of February, I decided we should take a trip down memory lane to the lush landscape, beautiful black sand beaches, and roaring waterfalls in this magical place. And well since I love fashion, of course I'm sharing some of my favorite bikini and products from this trip! Aloha for now...
